Welcome to the Sunday Skim your weekly recap of all things fashion, family, food and drink, health, news, social, lifestyle, home and beauty. Grab a cup of coffee and enjoy the Sunday Skim.
Family. There is still time before Halloween to work on this bucket list with the kids.
Food and Drink. Always on the look out for good soup recipes for fall and winter. This one looks delicious!
Health. Have you thought about switching to a natural deodorant? I did a few years ago and there was definitely a transition period. I wish I had this article when I was doing it because a lot of what she is saying makes complete sense. Personally the way I combat the smelliness is apple cider vinegar. Since natural deodorant doesn’t keep you from sweating your body will naturally grown some bacteria that smells. Once a week I swab my armpits with apple cider vinegar and it really helps.
Social. Still time to get tickets for Harvest Cup Polo Classic here. The silent auction is also available online and you do not have to be present at the event to bid. It won’t be live until the 18th but you can preview everything now.
News. Please be praying for the families in Florida who were effected by Hurricane Michael. Justin’s entire family lives in Panama City and we have been getting bits and pieces of news from them this weekend. Please keep them all in your prayers.
Lifestyle. I really try hard to support my friends businesses when I can. It’s not always easy to know what to do or what they need help with unless you ask them. But if you have started something new and your friends haven’t jumped into help these are some good tips of how to reach out and start the conversation on your own.
Home. Have you ever had a realtor tell you to bake cookies when you are trying to sell your home? Smell is such a big part of our senses and can make someone feel welcome and comfortable in your home. These are a few great ideas for things that you can do naturally to make your home smell warm and inviting.
Beauty. I like this monthly review of new products. As a person who doesn’t always try a lot of products if I don’t know anything about them I like to get a little inside scoop. Once a month Into The Gloss tries on several products and lets you know their thoughts.
