Sunday Skim

The Sunday Skim 12/24/17

It’s Christmas Eve and the second to last Sunday Skim in 2017.  We are spending our morning at church and then brunch and opening gifts with some of my family.  We are spending today and tomorrow and next week as a family so this will be my last post until New Years Eve.  We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your love and support this year.  It has been incredible to share a new part of my life with all of you and I am really looking forward to doing more in 2018.

Merry Christmas from our family to yours….

Fashion… The winter Solstice was this week and I have to share this each year because I just love it…

I have a small obsession with Anna Wintour and one of the best interviews she has ever done is the 73 questions video for Vogue.  It’s still my favorite interview she has ever done.

Family…  Have you ever heard of the Christmas Eve Bonfires on the Levee?  Its an amazing tradition and one year when the boys are a little bigger we will take them to see it.  Here is all you need to know.

Food and Drink…  Big Daddy loves mushrooms and I do not but because I love him I am making these on Christmas Day.

Health…  Christmas Day can be a marathon with eating especially if you have a few places to go.  Remember to drink plenty of water so that you don’t overeat and don’t feel bloated the next day.  Start your morning off with a big glass and end the day the same and plenty in-between.  The rule of thumb is your weight divided in half equals the amount of ounces you should drink of water per day.

Social…  Our Church hosted several Christmas Services in the days leading up to Christmas Eve.  This morning are the last two at 9:30 and 11:00.  It’s always an amazing experience and you can check it our here or follow them online here.

News… If you type Kardashian into Google the first thing to pop up is usually Christmas card.  Even if you don’t follow them regularly you probably have seen or at least heard about their epic Christmas cards.  Here is this years card which has left me a little underwhelmed.  This was my personal favorite from all the different years.

Merry Christmas!  Hope you and your family and friends are incredibly blessed…
