Menu for the week of 8/13/17

Well school is starting.  If your kids haven’t started yet they will probably be starting next week.  I am feeling an immense amount of relief and pressure.  Why does it feel like it’s such a challenge to make lunches???  I am always really excited to make lunches for like a month and then my enthusiasm goes down from there.  I am not too keen on school lunches but I may have to go that route now and then because making lunch five days a week makes me want to cry all the tears.

We were on vacation last week which means lots of bad decisions were made as far as our eating went.  We are going strict no sugar, no alcohol, eating every 2.5 hours and drinking all the water.  The Countdown to me having to fit in the mermaid skirt for Halloween has officially begun…

Sunday: Chicken Enchilada Bowls
Monday: Meatballs Stuffed with Mozzarella with spaghetti squash 
Tuesday: Broccoli, Ham and Egg Bake
Wednesday: Parmesan Broiled Tilapia with Broccoli
Thursday: Chipotle Sweet and Spicy Pulled Pork
Friday: Chicken Stir Fry with Broccoli
Saturday: Eat out
