Sometimes Facebook introduces you to the most amazing products. I came across an ad for this company and I immediately fell in love with their earrings. They are called Nickle and Suede and they make the most beautiful leather earrings. They come in a variety of sizes and patterns. You can check them out on Facebook here or on their website here.
After I had given birth to my youngest baby Porter I started a journey to breastfeed him. What I thought may only last for a few months has turned into nursing a toddler 20 months later. When he was a newborn we went a lot of places which meant I had to get comfortable really quick with nursing in public. Having two other kids didn’t give me the luxury of finding a private spot every single time I needed to nurse him.
In the beginning I was nervous that someone would say something to me in public for nursing without a cover so I took the time to look up my rights and I always a copy of it on my phone. Here is the link to learning what the laws are in your state… here.
If you live in Louisiana this is a quick little snap shot of the laws pertaining to nursing in public. I took a screen shot of this and kept it on my phone.
I am trying to mic things up in the gym lately and my trainer has been taking me through some TRX workouts and I also added a row and tone class to my weekly routine. TRX has been fun and exhausting and I am loving doing it each week. I actually have been getting Big Daddy to add a 5th day to his gym routine to do it with me on Saturday mornings. I think he thought it was going to be an easy workout but he was suprised how hard it is. If you aren’t familiar with TRX suspension training you can view this video here.
The video I attached has some pretty intense exercises but it can be as complicated or as easy as you want it to be. This is a great tutorial on a few beginner exercises that you can start doing.
Food and Drink
We have really been enjoying Keto eating these past few weeks. I made a recipe on Monday that was a winner for everyone in the house.
Chicken Enchilada Bowls
In the crock pot put 2 to 3 chicken breasts on low for 6 hours. About an hour or so before they are done drain the liquid and pour in a can of enchilada sauce and cook for an additional hour. When the meat is done shred to your desired texture and serve. We made our bowls with diced avocado as the base. We topped them with cheese, red onion, tomatoes, jalapenos, green onions and sour cream. If you aren’t on Keto some other additions could be black beans, corn or tortilla chips.
In case you haven’t heard it’s Shark Week starting tomorrow. I am the most excited about the Michael Phelps show that will be on tomorrow night but you can find the full line up here.
Obviously we will be watching every single thing they show for the next 7 days. Maybe it wasn’t the best idea to plan a beach trip the week after….
